 | Real Time GPS Vechile Tracking System
This real time vehicle tracking system incorporates the Global Positioning System to track a vehicle at any given time. The system receives satellite signals to calculate its location. The longitude, latitude, unit ID and other GPS information is transmitted via an AMS cellular modem to a computer to display on a regional map. The system consists of a GPS receiver and cellular modem which can be fastened to a vehicle either with wire ties or bolted securely. An AGPS Puck antenna attaches with a magnet to the underside of the bumper cover and a miniature magnet mount cellular antenna fastens to the frame. Power is supplied either from direct connection to the vehicle power or from a battery pack that can power the system for up to 5 days. The system can be accessed from a PC using the Host software package. The location of the vehicle will be displayed on a digital map. This system requires a cell phone service. Audio listen-in is a option.
